INDEMNITY AND CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO ALL INDIVIDUALS ENTERING PREMISES:
I/We the undersigned, having been given permission to enter the property of Bass Lake Enterprises (Pty) Ltd. (hereafter referred to as B.L.E.) appreciating the inherent and other hazards existing in a steelworks or mine or on its premises in itself or owing to its diverse activities, hereby acknowledge that I/We do so at our own risk and I/We hereby indemnify, hold harmless and free from liability and shall have no claim against B.L.E. or any of its employees in the event of any accident or injury, whether fatal or otherwise, occurring to me/us, or any damage occurring to me/our property whilst on the said site, and whether such accident or injury or damage occurs through the negligence or otherwise howsoever of B.L.E., or any of its employees. I/We hereby also indemnify B.L.E., and its employees, against any claim or demand against them by my/our heirs or dependants.NO Littering - Please use dustbins provided.
As the driver of the vehicle, I accept full responsibility for all the passengers in this vehicle. I have read and agree to the indemnity and conditions of entry. I agree that if I do not comply to these, if asked to leave the premises, I will do so, with no refund, with all the passengers in my vehicle.
Conditions of entry
Diving: All divers to be certified or accompanied by an instructor who is registered to train at bass lake. I no solo diving. | All dives to comply with international certifying standards. Night diving: special arrangements and bookings to be made in advance.
Other: no loud music. | No alcohol abuse | No dogs/pets
Any person causing a public nuisance, abusing or damaging property or any other person, or diving whilst under the influence of alcohol, may be asked to leave the property without compensation, and denied future access. A general speed limit of 20kms/HR. Shall be observed at all times, with a speed limit of 10kms/HR. Along the Waterfront road. Fires may only be made by patrons at braai's provided on premises.
Rules for boating, blow-ups and flotation device
Observe divers/swimmers & stay clear - Look for bubbles or floaters on the surface! Life Jacket must be on the boat at all times and must be worn by all non-swimmers and children 12 years or younger. No petrol motors permitted!
Rules for 4x4 vehicles:
No alcohol to be consumed on trail. No riding under the influence of intoxicating substances whatsoever. No Reckless driving or speeding. Speed limit 10km/hr. Only licenced drivers. This trail is an extension of public roads. All road rules will apply. No wheel spinning, stay on existing tracks. Please report vandalism and missing signs
RULES FOR FISHING
A refundable deposit is payable per car. This deposit is only refunded if all fishing rules are met and once a full inspection of the vehicle/boat/trailer/equipment is completed. All fisherman to be off by 16:30 unless overnighting. Catch & Release Bass Fishing ONLY. Fly-fishing or Lures only, with barbs removed from hooks. No treble hooks, NO live bait, NO bank fishing. No handling of fish without proper competent knowledge. All fishing rods to be handheld. Swimmers and divers enjoy right of way. NO litter to be thrown in lake.
POPI Consent: By accepting below herein I/We agree for any photographs taken whilst on the property, by either the owner/staff or other individuals, of me/us, may be shared on social media platforms for both individual or advertising purposes.
